After many months in the shed, I pulled out our daughter’s half-height, falling-apart Billy bookcase and did a reinforcement job.
By reinforcement, I mean using a drill and wood screws to secure the back of the bookcase to the shelves, and the sides of the shelves to the frame. Now it is crazy solid and living a new life as a utility shelf in that same shed.
